Dominic Frigo has been performing, teaching and composing music for 12 years. With strong foundations in classical piano, voice, and electric guitar, he composes in multiple musical styles for a variety of instruments. He has written and performed a neo-Renaissance a cappella four-voice mass, a string quartet, and other varied ensemble works. Dominic has played piano, guitar and bass for several bands and musicals, and performed as St. Brioche in “The Merry Widow” with the Sinfonietta Bel Canto under the direction of Maestro Dan D’Andrea. He has studied voice with Dr. Peter Jermihov and Elizabeth Gottlieb and piano with Jana Pavlovska, Dr. Akiko Konishi, and Leona Yu. Dominic currently studies with Dr. Stacy Garrop and Dr. Kyong Mee Choi in Roosevelt University’s composition program, and is the music director/organist at St. Peter’s Church in Chicago.
